Made possible by a gift from Ludwig Lauerhass, Jr.

This is Dr. Lauerhass's second endowment for the UCLA Library. The first was in Brazilian Studies. Dr. Lauerhass was a librarian emeritus in the history department. Dr. Lauerhass donated his personal collection of Hiroshima/Nagasaki materials and has made a generous gift in support of his collection so that it will be preserved, augmented and studied by current and future generations of scholars. Dr. Lauerhass's endowment can also be used to provide fellowships for scholars interested in conducting research relating to the Lauerhass Hiroshima/Nagasaki Collection.
