About the LSC History of Medicine and the Sciences
The Library Special Collections (LSC) History of Medicine and the Sciences collection documents the storied past of medicine, the life sciences and the physical sciences with materials about its thought and practice, discoveries, inventions, research trends and teaching methods. The collection's wide range of materials includes books, journals, manuscripts, prints, portraits and tools. The materials can be accessed in the Ahmanson-Murphy Reading Room on the A level of the Charles E. Young Research Library.
